Sisley – blow through the clutter
Posted on 24. Jul, 2007 by Jonathan Cherry in Advertising
Shockvertising is nothing new, but in a world where most normal, wholesome, family-valued advertising is just too much of a mission to think up and in most cases carries a good dose of yawn value, it at least gets some kind of attention.
These ads for Sisley [a fashion brand, the ads of which may or may not be fake] are causing handbags to fly again. [Oh, and Sisley's is apparently like Benetton, but just more there.]
By the looks of things, these two are on something a lot stronger than just shopping bag handles. May we suggest McDonalds and maybe a stay at Stepping Stones.
To be honest – when we first saw this, we thought it was an ad for this week’s Loeries.
