Spotted this sign on the way past Riebeeck Kasteel last weekend. It was the ‘welcome’ sign as you came to the ‘waiting area’, while they do road works on about 5km of between Riebeeck Kasteel and Hermon.
With so many rules – imagine if the South African Roads Agency had actually spotted this amazing opportunity, they were creating, and made some good use of it.
They could have sold things at a kiosk – or set up a virgin cocktail stand – or sold slots to the local community to trade with the waiting cars.
Anyone need the toilet?
