Game title launch events are turning to ’shock and awe’ techniques

In the glory days of Pong and Pac Man – a games company could just make it known that they had a new game and every corner cafe from Paris to Parow would order themselves a 20 cent box version.
Today, the gaming business is second only to gun running and competition is wild. Launch PR events are now multi-million dollar spectacles which demand shock exposure techniques.
Games radar have got the Top 7 games press launch events of all time.
