Reflecting on experience – the most important decision any company CEO / executive committee / head of HR / head of IT / chief cook and bottle washer makes – is what the new company logo should look like.
And now that everybody is connected and dishing out their opinion on blogs and MySpace pages, everybody is now un-officially a design expert. [we're thinking 2010 and and other awards logos here].
Interestingly enough, Logolounge.com have taken the time to map out the latest trends in the world of logo design for 2007 for your critical assessment.
Just remember, it’s all fun and games until somebody looses an eye. [thanks Apurba]

This article I came across is also definitely worth considering as well before you start purchasing from an online logo design service. Very informative. And it’ll surely help you on deciding which site to choose from when the need arises. It is by WIRED Magazine: http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/13.10/start.html?pg=13
They tested some logo design firms who cater to the online market (Logo Company, LogoDesignCreation.com, etc.).
