New PS3 ad: Very clear…

…the picture quality that is.
Otherwise we, like others, are confused by it.
Exploding money, men wearing a traditional cod-piece, half-nekkid ladies…its got everything a confusing, Tarantino-like short film should have.
Beautifully shot and graded – we love it – if only we knew what they are trying to say.
Perhaps ‘post me on your blog. I’m weird’…and it worked.
Then again – implying that buying a new PS3 is like tossing a grenade at a suitcase full of cash, is not good?

It seems to me that the advert is trying to illustrate various gaming scenarios that normal people might find themselves in. And that PS3 is not just a game, it’s living. Hence “This is living”. The soccer scene with the grenade made me feel like they were saying that everything is linked in PS3 land, you can play soccer one minute (fifa or whatever) and blow something up the next.
Just my 2 very hypothetical cents!!
