Free product idea: Wire bin
Posted on 10. Nov, 2006 by Jonathan Cherry in Design
We’re going to print out this picture and hand it over to the first wire artist we see at the next robot.
Its a wire bin – designed to support a standard shopping bag, magically transforming it into a bin.
Simple – sure, but brilliant.
We’d buy one for every corner of the Cherryflava HQ.
Plus the bonus is that those plastic bags you spent 26 cents on, go to a good cause.
Just in time for the tourist season. Spread the word.
Original design by Felix de Pass.

This is actually a pretty old idea, and a product that has been around for many years now in Germany. It won several awards already (for instance in 1994 the ‘Design Plus’ Award) and can be ordered via several online- or mailorder stores.
