Lonely Planet on your PSP

LondonpspFinding your way to the address some Ukrainian pole dancer just slipped to you on the London tube will soon be as easy as loading up a new disc on your Sony PSP.

Travel book high-priests, Lonely Planet, have teamed up with Sony to release high-tech versions of their guides to Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Paris, Prague and Rome.

The guides let you plan your itinerary, courtesy of calendar, slideshow and map functions, and explore your destination of choice using audio tours and short films. City breakers can also scroll through 250 Lonely Planet reviews of restaurants, museums, bars and a language phrase guide so that you know how to say bugger off to someone from Ireland.

Good idea which just shouldn't be restricted to the PSP alone.

Watch out for future guides being sold on iTunes and other online portals for various portable devices.
