With Africa now the no. 1 American publicity weapon – we’re predicting that a couple of US companies will jump on the brand-wagon and start associating themselves with our continent’s cliched image.
Hey – with so many burger-stuffing-fat-bastards populating the place, Africa could well become a hot destination for them to recruit ramp model slaves.
Before you send Banana Republic a hot elephant turd in disgust, this ad is not real. But the thinking behind it is.

Come on dudes! This ad was making fun of the irony behind B.R ads – (usually) all-white yuppie models, yet the name of the co. is Banana Republic, which basically means poor 3rd world country run by dictators. Nothing against Africa – I’m totally down with your ‘nent!
