Interbrand’s Top 100 Global brands 2006

Breaking news: Youth brands are the clear winners in this year’s list of the top 100 global brands.
At top spot yet again is Coke with an estimated brand value of $67 billion. That’s a %^$ load of sugar water.
Its also no surprise that the top 5 brands are all US – Nokia making an amazing return to glory at no. 6.
There are no South African brands listed – not even De Beers made it.
Google up 46% from last year at 24 and Apple up 14% at no.39.
With no advertising and images that make up distant memory, Marlboro romps in at 12 way ahead of Pepsi.
