Design your own bank card
Posted on 20. Jul, 2006 by Cassandra in Uncategorized
Bank brands and financial service brands are damn hard to differentiate. Unless you’ve employed killer staff that all have a huge stake in the business – a bank is a bank right?
Maybe not.
The KBC bank in Belgium, now offers its customers the opportunity to personalize their own bank cards.
Via the KBC website, customers are invited to submit an image of their choice. After a few days they can pick up a new card at the bank that
has the selected image imprinted (if it is approved of by KBC that is).
Nice one.

It’s a big hit here in Belgium at first glance and I suspect that shortly, other banks will follow in a similar fashion.

It was done at a bank in the Netherlands too. I have my own, personalized bank card

You can also do this with the Walmart Credit Card and the Walmart Discover Network Card in the United States as well.
