The end of radio

Audio files on the Internet are nothing new. But now, one of the founders of blogger is starting a service, called Odeo, which will allow owners of Apple iPods to download ‘packages’ of music from independent websites.
It’s called Podcasting…remember that term, because in years to come it could be the reason for the end of radio as we know it.
Compared with the other various approaches so far, Odeo means to be podcast central – an all-in-one system that makes it possible for someone with no more equipment than a telephone to produce podcasts and also makes it possible for users to assemble custom playlists of audio files and copy them directly onto MP3 audio players.
This kind of technology will smash open access to everyone with a dream of being a DJ….cool stuff.
Cherryflava predicts that, before long you might have the same type of thing happening with video files. The future could be independent web-based television studios hosted by a 15 year old. Watch this space for Cherryflava TV.

Vanity broadcasting! Whoo-hoo!
That’s all I wanted to say but then my eyes fell on vloging. That sounds like a mighty painful, yet strangely enjoyable spanking.
