This month’s bag highlights two very cool backpacker forum sites which should come in very handy if you’re planning to visit a foreign country and you need some useful info. The best way to travel is always to talk to people to get the lowdown on what’s going on.
Thorn tree is a site linked to Lonely Planet and generates about 5000 posts per day, while Virtualtourist has about 400,000 members from over 219 countries who share insights and experiences to help each other travel smarter.

So..if you’re going to Dubai in December and need to know where you can drink a beer in safety…check these sites out.
